What is the point of critiquing such an awesome peice of art? It's nearly perfect, and the only problem I see is a mistake I make all the time.

Let's see... where to begin? The clouds are fluffy, but hold a bit of solidity. This is good. They also make it obvious where the lighting is coming from. The whales. OH! the whales. Perfect. They are muscular but also smooth. I see a bit of a problem with the third whale, the one who all you can see of is the tail. At first I thought it was a fin from the foreground whale. Confusing. That may be the watermark's fault, or just my eyes, but next time, try making it more obvious that it's a completely seperate whale.

Now, another flaw I see is in the sky. This is the aforementioned common mistake. There's a big hole where there should be stars. I don't know if this was intended or not, because of the slight glow on the horizon below it. All evidence is pointing toward a post sunset aura. Including the little zig-zaggy gap that seems to lead the eye toward it.

One last thing I would suggest is putting a few whales in the background. They seem to be dominating the middle and fore grounds quite heavily.
